Reach Heaven Through Optimization
A factory-building game with a twist: the player has extremely limited horizontal space to build, so their factory must instead grow ever upwards into a towering skyscraper of industry. Players must carefully plan the placement of their machines to avoid blocking off the routes items need to flow, and they must also be careful not to build too high—the higher their tower, the more income they lose to taxes.
I built this relatively simple game over ten weeks as a school project, so it isn’t as polished as some of my other projects visually, but I’m proud enough of the mechanical design that I wanted to include it here. The game was built entirely by me in Unreal Engine 4.
